Maandag 23 mei leggen alle verloskundigen in Nederland gedeeltelijk hun werk neer, WIJ ook!
We STAKEN van 9-17.
Minister Ernst Kuipers besluit volgende week of de integrale bekostiging in de geboortezorg door gaat. En daar zijn wij tegen! Het zal ons unieke NL geboortesysteem ten gronde laten gaan. Onder andere de keuze vrijheid hoe je wilt bevallen komt in geding en ons vak als zelfstandige verloskundigen zal verdwijnen.
Wat doen we maandag WEL
✅ begeleiden van bevallingen
✅ Alle spoedconsulten begeleiden, maar op 1 centrale locatie.
✅ Spreekuur gaat gewoon door
Wat doen we maandag NIET
❌Kraamvisite rijden
❌Huisbezoeken voor NIET acute zorg
(Als we denken dat je wel moet worden gecontroleerd maar er geen sprake is van acute zorg dan wordt je door ons naar de tijdelijke centrale controlepost gestuurd, waar je wordt gezien door een van de verloskundigen.)
We zijn er voor jullie, ook nu!
Maar vragen jullie hulp en begrip!

On Monday 23 May, all midwives in the Netherlands will strike between 9am and 5pm. That means that we will also be partially suspending our services.
This will be the first time that midwives are striking since a very long time. Next week, Ernst Kuipers, Secretary of Health will decide whether or not to change the funding structure for maternal care from the current system to an integral funding system. We strongly oppose this change, as we believe this will severely harm (even destroy) our unique and high-quality maternal care system that we have in The Netherlands. Among other things, the freedom to choose how you want to give birth is at stake and our profession as independent midwives will disappear.
On Monday, we WILL CONTINUE to:
✅ Spervise childbirth
✅ Supervise all emergency consultations, at a central location
✅ Consultation hour
On Monday, we will NOT be doing:
❌ Post-natal visits
❌ Home visits for non-urgent care
(When we think you should be checked but there is no emergency, we will send you to the temporary central checkpoint, where you will be seen by one of the midwives.)
