This week, AHF Europe brought together partners and representatives from Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, England, and Poland in Athens for a two-day workshop focused on migrants’ access to healthcare.
The topic is highly relevant for all our countries: the number of migrants from different regions continues to grow, yet access to medical services remains extremely challenging - and unfortunately, it is getting worse each year.
Throughout the workshop, we are sharing experiences, discussing key challenges, and exploring practical ways to improve the situation. A special focus is placed on ensuring equitable access to HIV testing, prevention, and treatment services, which remain a critical lifeline for many migrant communities.
Work in progress - and together we’re building solutions that matter.

The food packages that AHF Ukraine patients receive through the “Food for Health” project have become an important source of support in their daily lives. They help maintain a balanced diet, save resources, and bring peace of mind amid so many challenges.
And most importantly, they serve as a reminder that there are people who care and will not leave you alone.
Together, we are building a community where care is not just words — it’s active compassion in action.

У часи, коли багато хто стикається з невизначеністю, навіть прості речі набувають великого значення.
Продуктові набори, які пацієнти AHF Ukraine отримують у межах проєкту «Їжа для здоров’я», стали для багатьох важливою опорою у щоденному житті.

А ще — нагадують, що поруч є ті, хто піклується й не залишає наодинці.

🎉 On October 11th, AHF Poland team celebrated International Day of Girls with rhythm, joy, and togetherness!
Girls Drumming Group from uczuków led a unique concert and workshop in Spilno Lublin bringing together 35 female participants and participants of different ages. Their energy and talent filled the space with strength, creativity, and mutual support - showing that music connects across borders.

On this , AHF Estonia has brought together girls aged 14–16 from family-type shelters in the Ida-Viru region for a special day filled with inspiration, courage, and connection. 💖
It has been a safe and supportive space where girls could explore their strengths, share their dreams, and feel truly heard and valued.
A day of growth, belief, and shining together. ✨

In honor of the International Day of the Girl Child, Ukrainian team organized a Forum in Kyiv that brought together more than 50 participants to discuss key issues related to education opportunities, girls’ rights, and social support. It was an inspiring space for sharing experiences, learning, and empowering young girls to speak up and shape their future. 💪💫
