The Clubfoot.world Program 2026 is designed for the right people, not for everyone.
We believe that meaningful learning and impact start with a good match between participant and program.
Below, we outline who this program is — and may not be — suitable for.

✔ This program IS for you if you:
• Work with children with clubfoot and want to improve the quality of care
• Are motivated to strengthen your clinical skills through practice, reflection, and mentorship
• Value international exchange and learning from different healthcare settings
• Are willing to commit time and effort to a structured, year-long training program

✖ This program may NOT be for you if you:
• Are looking for a short or purely theoretical course
• Are not actively involved in clubfoot treatment
• Prefer to learn without feedback, peer discussion, or case review
• Are not able to commit to a longer-term learning trajectory

Our goal is not to train as many people as possible, but to work with those who are truly motivated to grow and contribute to high-quality clubfoot care worldwide.

⏳ Application deadline: January 9

Sports and physical activity with clubfoot.

Many parents wonder which sports are suitable for their child with clubfoot. In practice, we see that many children can participate in sports just like others, sometimes with small adjustments.

The most important thing is that a child enjoys the activity and feels comfortable with the sport they choose. Every clubfoot is different, and every child develops at their own pace. This means that a sport that works well for one child may be less suitable for another.

Staying active is important, but not every sport feels comfortable with a clubfoot. It is often about finding the right balance between staying active and avoiding overuse or strain. Due to differences such as foot position or reduced muscle strength, some sports can be more challenging, but this varies greatly from person to person.

💬 We would love to hear your experiences:
Which types of physical activity work best for you or your child? And are there sports you consciously choose to do—or avoid—because of clubfoot?

A former participant reflects on the Clubfoot.world Specialist Program

“The one-year program offered by Clubfoot World provides a truly unique theoretical and practical experience in the management of clubfoot.
Its main goal is to standardize care worldwide, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment from well-trained and competent teams.
The first two modules, completed with GCI in Manchester and London, establish a solid foundation for managing both simple and complex clubfoot cases.

The highlight of the program is undoubtedly the stay in New Delhi.
Working alongside the Cure India team provides exposure to an exceptionally high number of patients, who come every day seeking expert care.
This journey teaches an important lesson: regardless of the number of patients, available resources, or cultural differences, the principles of clubfoot treatment remain the same everywhere.

Regular online case discussions, supervised by a mentor, allow participants to review complex cases, continuously improve, and share knowledge with peers.

All in all, this year has been much more than a training program.
It has been a unique experience, incredibly rewarding both professionally and personally.”
