Big Science Organizations (BSOs) such as CERN, ESA, and ITER are at the heart of today’s scientific landscape, mobilizing human, financial, and technological resources on an unprecedented scale. The complexity of these scientific ventures requires innovative governance and management strategies. This workshop underscores the importance of tailored training and skills development to foster effective leadership within BSOs, tackling key issues like governance, economic impacts, outreach, and industry collaboration.
The University of Granada is hosting this workshop to connect experts, highlight sought-after skills, and foster networking through panels and roundtables, addressing governance, industry collaboration, and career pathways for students and early career researchers in these dynamic scientific environments.
The workshop will take place tomorrow from 15:00 to 19:00 and has a hybrid format meaning it can be attended both online and onsite.
