Jonge ondernemer Maikel Tenniglo leidt Jemm's Group B.V. Het bedrijf richt zich op de ontwikkeling van 3D geprinte materialen. Nadat ze mee hebben gedaan aan ons Innovate Go programme lanceerde Jemm's Group B.V. het merk MATX Smart Materials Zij ontwikkelen 'smart materials' met far infrared (FIR) and antimicrobiële eigenschappen. Het bedrijf biedt ook biologisch afbreekbare (thuis composteerbare) polymeren en een vervormbaar plastic dat met alleen heet water zijn vorm kan veranderen.💡

Sneak peek…

We have been working on designing a life-size, movable, 3D printed robot. The life-size model will be 1500% larger than the miniature!
Different innovative technologies will be incorporated in the robot as well.

NEW FIR TECHNOLOGY

We would like to introduce you to our new technology… The Far infrared (FIR) technology!

Our new unique modified polymer that interacts with the human skin. When the object touches the skin, the material will absorb the heat and convert it into infrared energy.

We want to break the quietness with big news!

Even though we haven’t posted for a while, we have been very busy with exciting things… We have official moved to a new and bigger office at the Spinnerij Enschede, Rigtersbleek-Zandvoort 10. Next to that, we have also upgraded our website to a fresh look!

Flowers stay fresh for a longer period of time...

MatX has done an experiment to test whether a flower has a longer shelf life in a vase that contains anti-microbial material, than in a vase that does not. This experiment is done with several 3D printed vases with different percentages of PLA, PLC, anti-microbial and MatX material, to observe in which vases the flowers would last the longest. Important was that all the vases were under the same circumstances and conditions during the whole research period.

We have concluded that the anti-microbial property of the MatX material ensures that the flowers stay fresh longer. All the vases that contained anti-microbial technology have shown that it ensures that the flowers have a longer lifetime period. Other additives also had a certain positive result, however, the technique that is used in that material is harmful to humans and the environment. Meanwhile, MatX material is completely safe for people and nature, which makes this the best option.
