Hi everyone, I have read many of your comments on the thoughts of AI and Chat-GTP. The fears and also the excitements. What I see here is that some of you understands what AI is and others don't realy grasp the essence of it which leads to fear.
Now picture this for a moment, when man developed the first automated machines people were afraid of losing there jobs and that the automated industry will bring an end to the workforce of man. Question is, did it? No....what automation of the industry did was it created more opportunities, created more jobs, specialization, differentiation, expansion and more.
What strikes me is that event hough man has defy the ods many times and evolve ourselves in numerous ways, still some people think only of destruction instead of progression. I ask myself where does these fears come from? Is it because of movies that people look at or fiction books that they read that causes their minds to project images and scenarios of what they have seen and read as possible cause and effect of Al and other technological developments and advancement?
The truth of the matter is in every good thing that is created one will find a few that will use it for the wrong purposes. Dus this make the entity wrong, bad or as some may put it evil? Think about this.
Don't be afraid of progress. Be afraid of not progressing, not evolving not reaching your full potential. This would be a sad and disgrace to your ability. Fir those of you who fear I can understand that you do not grasp the essence of AI. Do more research on the matter. Go back into history and look at the birth of other technology that was wildy spread that will take over jobs and will make the industry that was flourishing collapse. What was the result of those industries today? With this knowledge look at AI with new prospective and understanding, and I will assure you it will be a different outcome.
Remember this: "UNDERSTANDING IS THE KEY"!
