Do you have a favorite tree? This is Hazel and right now my favorite tree is the little Japanese maple in my garden that is trying her best to keep going even though parts of her have long ago died. Her name is Ruby and I feel connected to her struggle.

Dayshia Tanks (she/her) is a Black q***r ecotherapist who was born and raised in Central Arkansas. She loves to support folks as they rediscover a connection to the Earth, awe, ancestral narratives, and play as vital aspects of healing.
