Kissing this 9 year cycle goodbye!
Every 9 years we move through a evolutionary rhythm. A full arc of collective themes, lessons, identities and structures.
Completion is sacred.
2017 - In the first week of January I took off on a one way ticket solo trip through Central America. Completed a yoga instructor training, became a dive instructor, learned Spanish amd gave myself the best year of my life
Countries visited: Bonaire, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Caribbean islands of Colombia, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, New York and Iceland
After traveling for more than 11 months by myself, I came back to the Netherlands
2018 - Worked several events to gain money back. But it didn't feel good any longer.
Landed a dive instructor summer job in Cyprus.
Autumn gave me a special time with my dad in Spain where we found each other again.
Took off to the Caribbean again in November. A vacay with my favorite mermaids landed me a dive instructor job on Cayman Islands.
2019 - Moved all my stuff and myself to this tiny island called Little Cayman. Where I didn't know anybody yet and started as a dive instructor.
Had an amazing home facing the blue Caribbean Sea, could hear the waves from my bed. Worked my ass litteraly off and learned the most on all levels. Emigrated from my home country. Enjoyed every second on this very special little rock.
2020 - Covid hit when I was on holiday in Maui Hawai'i. Very stressful times followed. Tried to get into Maui University to get a student visa, while in the meantime fell head over heels in love with all the humpback whales 🐋
But it all didnt work out on time and I had to leave. Cried my way back to the Netherlands. And ended up at my dad's in Spain just in time for a 7 month lockdown.
