Relationships evolve around the theme/polarity of connection and distinction. The longing to merge and disappear in the other is in paradox with a longing to be distinct and separate. The longing to distinction and separation may create a way of relating that does not allow (true) intimacy and is often based on external rules and control. The merging can lead to transformation and consciousness but it can also lead to the shadows and the murky waters of the unconscious. It depends on the extent you are aware of your own way of relating, of your needs and the needs of your partner. It asks work : not on the relationship but on yourself. Something new can be born when your are fully committed to this work : a new you that shapes and creates this relationship. It is a work of staying and determination: endurance instead of enduring. It is courage but not about being brave.

When you integrate this lesson of this polarity you make a step from the Power over to the Power of love.

Some of you who know me personally know that my path to do this work in healing and education stems for a deep passion for . In fact my understanding of is embedded in the art of acting and performing. Until recently I was separating my art post and my therapy posts. But I realise now that I am hiding one from the other. I was afraid to be misunderstood by artists and by therapists/healers. I was afraid . 🖤

Now I realise this is me : is 2 faces of the same and in terms of this 2 are not 2 but actually one! ♥️

Apparently archetype (to me the that teaches about masks and illusion and their role in sharpening our sense of value and worth) was/is teaching me a lesson here.

This realisation about hiding I wrote about in creative work years ago (see below).

Hope this inspires you all to reveal your selves as I believe in this times of high complexity we need each ones to help us and .

A lot of us are pretending they don’t understand that or in has nothing to do with pretending.

It is a play yes of course as is life. But it is your creation, it is your life. When you truly understand and feel what this means you will stop pretending. You realise and you start revealing who you are to yourself first and that is when you start to see and be seen.

How to nurture life in your psyche?
When the images in your psyche are not able to move, it means that you are conserving them like in a (deep) freezer. This is the energy of fear: fear of life.
You bring life to your psyche by truly relating to the images.
Those images are autonomous: you have to treat them ad such and not to manipulate the images to your (ego) liking.

Imagination is not something you do in an art class or in a meditation. It is not necessarily a dreamy practice. It is real and happens all the time. It is inherent to us being together and depending on our environment and I do mean more than humans.

Imagination is necessarily to exchange with this environment : to be entered by it and to enter it. This is beyond curiosity, survival or even community.

I believe imagination is being alive. So yes I think other creatures must imagine us as well.

This idea was lived by people as something natural and as a fact before our time where our knowledge seems ( I say seems because it is only a pretence) to be based on proof by testing each hypothesis.

Without Imagination we wouldn’t understand the words of each other.

What I say is (not) what you are reading.

In fact communication and the encounter is only possible when there is space for interpretation and shaping what one says (creates) this means that what is created is true and alive.
You can see this in the work of great thinkers: we are never done talking and discussing what they meant to tell us.
We sense the beauty/ truth and importance of what they shared with us and it is up to us to make new stories and to reveal the hidden.
As we do this imaginative practice we reveal ourselves.
In the encounter/imagination there is empty space to shape and reshape: to listen and to listen again together.
