At Abundance, we believe that the small, intentional rituals we create each day can lead to profound transformation. And few rituals are as ancient—or as nourishing—as sharing a cup of Ceremonial Cacao ☕
Abundance was born from a deep passion for conscious living, global community, and the healing power of nature. Founded by Laura, an Irish human rights advocate, the journey to Cacao began far from home—in the villages and temples of Southeast Asia and the vibrant landscapes of Brazil. It was while traveling through Thailand, Indonesia, and Cambodia, immersed in community-led projects and sacred ceremonies, that Laura first experienced the grounding, heart-opening effects of Ceremonial Cacao 🧘🏼♀️
After more than a decade working with communities across the world from advocating for children in war zones to supporting women’s rights, protecting land grabbing victims, refugees and opening up educational access to disadvantaged students form low economic backgrounds— Laura saw how healing, nourishment, and dignity are interconnected. Her work as a human rights specialist, holding an Advanced Master's in International Children's Rights, has always centered on equity, respect, and empowerment. These values now form the foundation of Abundance 🌿
Back in Europe, Laura noticed something missing. While cafés and stores brimmed with sugary hot chocolate filled with additives and dairy products, few people knew about Ceremonial Cacao—a sacred plant medicine rich used for thousands of years rich in antioxidants, minerals, and history. So she set out to bring this ancient tradition to Europe in a modern, accessible, and ethically grounded way 🤎
