Leuke test!
An insecure man will crumble, or become reactive in his nature. He will lash out, call names, and become petty. When he is insecure, he can become aggressive, whiney, and threatening, all because he is trying to bolster up his pride or hide his insecure nature.
A grounded man will be so centred that the challenge will only be met with stillness and peace. He will reflect, question the matter, and look into where he is experiencing intellectually, emotionally, and intuitively. A grounded man is not above or threatened by being wrong, or being questioned.
Confidence is quiet, Insecurities are loud.
When a man is reactive and goes on the attack, it is a false sense of security and almost always coming from a place of hiding his own shortcomings.
In relationships this can look like him never being able to admit he's wrong, take ownership over his part in conflict, "flying off the handle," or lacking enough stability to set boundaries.
At work it can look like him missing deadlines and blaming it on others, shirking responsibility for a failed project, or avoiding taking ownership over his lack of performance.
Not matter where it shows up, the mission for a man Is to find stillness in his day to face whats coming up.
Confidence comes when we slow down enough to see through the distortions of our insecurities, doubts, or inner shame.
So test your confidence.
Slow down.
And get quiet enough to feel grounded in your heart, mind, and body.
