✨🌍 Bowen Global Network – 6th Members’ Q&A Recap 🌍✨
What an inspiring Q&A last Thursday with Jo Wortley and Colin Murray from the College of Bowen Studies (UK) 🙌
We explored how Bowen education is evolving and how collaboration between global organisations can help unify and strengthen the Bowen community. Jo and Colin shared valuable insights on:
✅ Expanding practitioner training with new subjects such as trauma-informed care and client communication
✅ Supporting students to understand the depth of the Bowen Technique and connect meaningfully with their communities
✅ Recognising red flags for practitioners and understanding the complementary approach — knowing our limits and when to refer on, for the safety of clients
✅ Embracing a new mindset that supporting other practitioners is not competition — more practitioners increase the credibility, visibility, and acceptance of Bowen Therapy
✅ Maintaining the highest standards of education while making courses financially and practically accessible
The College of Bowen Studies continues to lead the way in delivering outstanding practitioner training in the UK, helping students turn their passion for Bowen into part-time or full-time careers, or simply a way to support family and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to all the NTI members who joined us from around the globe — your presence, questions, and energy made this session truly special. 🌍💙
If you missed the presentation, it is available in the NTI Library for all members.
We’re excited about the future of Bowen — rooted in tradition, yet expanding with fresh approaches, innovation, and global collaboration. 🌱✨
