Solveig from Ålesund, Norway and Gary from Alabama, USA. We are on a mission of movement, lifestyle, and community. By exploring and sharing different ways to become a more wholesome human it has brought us here to Ålesund for the summer! We are excited for the opportunity to share our passion with you as we continue to investigate and deepen our purpose to become better, more capable humans. We are based in the US where we’ve lived for last 3 years. Recently moving from Baltimore, where we managed and instructed classes at a movement studio has allowed us the privilege to step into the nomadic lifestyle that we have been yearning for a taste of. After our much needed Norwegian summer we will move back to the states to travel, train and share movement, host workshops and retreats, and reconnect with the beautiful people we’ve had the pleasure to meet along the way! 19:15-20:15 Mobility, Strenght & HIIT

What is BUDOKON YOGA? Budokon Yoga focuses on control, power and precision. The movement is slow and controlled, and the techniques are learned through repetition. Very much like a Vinyasa or Power Yoga class, the sequence is energetic and strong. However, the emphasis is in the moments of transition, not in holding poses. In the sequence you will find stretching, strengthening and balancing poses (including handstands and inversions), which will challenge the practitioner to face fears and other limiting emotions in a safe way. The movement sequences usually end in Savasana, where students get to relax the body and allow the benefits of the movement practice to seep in. What is Mobility, Strength & HIIT? Mobility is a form of movement to increase the stability and active range of motion in your joints. In this class we will move through a 20 minute mobility routine before moving in to our 20 min Calisthenic strength focused work. Calisthenics is a form of strength and power training utilizing bodyweight exercises. It’s designed to improve strength, flexibility, agility, balance, coordination, and aerobic conditioning. It is an art form of using your own bodyweight as a means to maximize human power and athletic ability. At the end of the class we will finish it out with a 10 min HIIT (high Intensity) session. This means that we will work shorter periods of high intensity work with a short amount of rest before repeating an exercise over an period of time. An excellent way to challenge the body and mind that is sure to leave you fulfilled! We will end class with a 5-10 min Cooldown. Bring your own Yoga mat and a Water bottle. Tips: If you can get your hands on a yoga mat that has some grip, this will be a life changing experience. PRICE: 120-200Kr
Our classes located at Hessahuset will be donation based. The price is a sliding scale from 120kr -200kr for each class. Choose what you feel the most comfterble with contributing. :)

10% of each class will be donated to Hessa/SIF IL.
