Over the years, I have often taught about taking care of our own needs, closing one door so that others can be opened. Choosing a better path and letting go when it's necessary.
The time has come for me to apply all of this to my own life. And it's with many mixed emotions that I have decided to close down Samyama Yoga at the end of this year.
It's been a truly amazing experience, and I will forever be grateful to all of you, wonderful souls, who trusted me and allowed me to to be part of your journey.
But it hasn't been a struggle-free experience either, and I need to close this chapter so that I can release what is holding me back from reaching my true potential as a person and as a teacher. I need to take a little break and take the time to reconnect more deeply with my own practice. I need to move on toward a place where I can thrive.
So, farewell Samyama. You will forever be dear to my heart. You have taught me what I needed to learn. And now, I can let you go, with a smile, and move on to create something new.
And I am definitely creating something new.
Terra Yoga. My new yoga center. A new project, a renewed sense of passion for yoga and for teaching. I am so looking forward to sharing this new adventure with all of you. And it will be a tremendous pleasure to welcome everyone again and create this new center together in spring 2016. You will still find there the classes and workshops that you love and some new courses and teachers as well. There will also be an outstanding teacher training (200 hours and 500 hours). So, get ready for some incredible yoga experiences!
I will post news and updates on Samyama's FB group (www.facebook.com/groups/samyama/). Join me there if you haven't done so yet. And I would love to hear your feedback and wishes too. Feel free to contact me on FB or at info@samyama.no.
Last class at Samyama will be on friday december 18th, and I will soon share more information about it.
Thank you again everyone! I am really looking forward to this next chapter!
