Our Youth Champions and club members successfully conducted an interactive session on Safe Abortion at the Urban Health Promotion Center, Maharajgunj,ward no 03 for Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs).
The session created a safe and engaging space for learning, discussion, and awareness on reproductive health and safe abortion.

On November 21, 2025, our Youth Champions Aarati Chhatkuli, Kamal Joshi, Bikash Chand, and Laxmi Thapa organized an interactive group session on Safe Abortion at Samata Shiksha Niketan School, Bouddha, Kathmandu.

Along with them, club members Priyanka Kathayat and Sangita Rijal, together with our amazing mentor Manika Thapaliya, played an important role in making the session a great success.

The program reached over 45 students from Class 9, creating a safe space for learning and open discussion on this important topic.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Samata Shiksha Niketan School for their warm support and encouragement. 🙏

On August 28, 2025, our Youth Champions Aarati Chhatkuli , Kamal Joshi , Bikash Chand , and Laxmi Thapa held an interactive group session on Safe Abortion at Viswa Niketan Secondary School, Tripureshwor!

With club member Sangita Rijal, our amazing mentor Manika Thapaliya, and a supportive team from Visible Impact, the session turned out to be super engaging.

They reached over 38 of Class 12 students, helping them learn and discuss this important topic openly. ✨

A huge gratitude to Viswa Niketan Secondary School for the warm support, and special thanks to the coordinator sir, for making this initiative possible. 🙏

We’re delighted to welcome Manika Thapaliya as the mentor of our YAAY Club – Club ROAR (Run for Abortion Rights) of bagmati Province .

Manika is a public health student at the Central Department of Public Health,Institute of Medicine (IOM), Kathmandu, and a former YAAY Youth Champion, who is passionate about safe abortion rights and youth empowerment.

As our mentor, she’ll guide our Youth Champions and 10 vibrant members on an impactful advocacy journey to raise awareness, break stigma, and create change! 🎊🙌
