Newton Hospital

Newton Hospital has been named in the memory of the greatest scientist of our era Sir Isaac Newton and established with the vision to provide healthcare excellence with the latest and advanced medical technology. With the objective to provide highly efficient and especial health service from outside Kathmandu valley of Nepal for non-communicable diseases like heart, kidney, cancer and more, which are arising gradually due to high population growth and pollution, a highly modern and specialized hospital with 350 beds was started to construct in March 2019 to address ongoing health crisis on the leadership of Narayani Community Hospital involving to well-known doctors, health workers, businesspersons, entrepreneurs, industrialists, engineers and social workers of the diverse genre. Meter (nearly 6 acres / 46 Ropani) land area in Bharatpur Metropolitan City in Chitwan. The total area of the building will be around 400,000 Square feet with a plinth area of about 60,000 sq. feet. The Hospital is located in front of National Park with clean air and beautiful greenery. This environmental suitability would help to feel comfortable to the patient and enhances cure. The project construction was started in March 2019 with the total estimated budget of around NPR.500 crores, USD 45 Million. The estimated project completion date is March 2022. This will be the multidisciplinary super specialty hospital with a special focus on cancer diseases as a Newton Cancer Institute with dedicated 100 beds. The cancer institute will have the surgical Oncology Department with Neuro Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Breast Surgery, Gastro-Intestinal Surgery (GI), Hepato-Biliary Surgery, Urology, Orthopedic, Gynecology, Head & Neck, Plastic, and Re-Constructive Surgical services. The radiation oncology department will have modern radiotherapy equipment like the latest version of the linear accelerator (LINAC), brachytherapy, TPS, Dosimetry, CT Simulator which will provide IMRT, IGRT, SRS, different types of Interstitial radiotherapy, ICRT, etc. The medical oncology will provide chemotherapy with super specialty services like Hemato Oncology, lymphoma clinic, solid and soft-tissue tumor clinic, pediatric oncology, and bone marrow transplant (BMT) services. The nuclear medicine department will have a PET-CT Scan, bone densitometry, GAMMA therapy, etc. The pathology department will provide regular HPE, Frozen Section, FNAC, IHC, CD Panel, Molecular oncology, etc. Prioritized Trauma care service will be available as the Hospital is located in the middle of the east-west highway. The Helicopter service will be provided to rescue/rapid treatment from any part of the Country. Cardiology services will be provided with a modern Cath Lab and CCU. Nephrology service will be available with Hemodialysis,

A single dedicated modular operation theater for the caesarian section will be available in the obstetric ward. Radiology service with CT scan, MRI, USG, Digital Mammography, Digital X-Ray, Portable X-Ray, etc. Endoscopy service will be equipped with different modern endoscopes; Bronchoscopy, NPL, Gastro-Duodenoscopy, Sigmoido-Colonoscopy, EUS, EBUS, ERCP, etc.
