गर्मी महिनामा कुकुरको रौँ काट्ने वा छाँट्ने फाइदाहरू
गर्मी महिनामा कुकुरको रौँको उचित व्यवस्थापन गर्नु उनीहरूको स्वास्थ्य र आरामको लागि निकै महत्त्वपूर्ण हुन्छ। कुकुरको जात (Breed) र उसको रौँको प्रकार अनुसार रौँ छाँट्नु (Trimming) वा कोर्नु (Brushing) का निम्न फाइदाहरू छन्:

१. तापक्रम नियन्त्रण र शीतलता
कुकुरहरूलाई मानिसलाई जस्तो शरीरभरि पसिना आउँदैन। उनीहरू मुख्यतया panting (जीब्रो निकालेर छिटो-छिटो सास फेर्ने) मार्फत शरीरको तापक्रम सन्तुलनमा राख्छन्।

फाइदा: रौँलाई हल्का छाँट्दा वा नियमित कोर्दा शरीरमा हावाको सञ्चार (Air circulation) राम्रो हुन्छ, जसले कुकुरलाई शीतल महसुस गराउँछ र हिट स्ट्रोक (Heatstroke) को जोखिम कम गर्छ।

२. परजीवीहरूको पहिचान र नियन्त्रण
गर्मी र वर्षाको समयमा किर्ना (Ticks), उपियाँ (Fleas), र अन्य कीराहरू सक्रिय हुन्छन्।

फाइदा: रौँ छोटो वा सफा हुँदा यी परजीवीहरूलाई सजिलै देख्न र हटाउन सकिन्छ, जसले कुकुरलाई विभिन्न रोगहरूबाट जोगाउँछ।

३. छालाको स्वास्थ्य र संक्रमणबाट बचाव
धेरै लामो वा गुजुल्टो परेको रौँमा फोहोर, ओस, र पसिना जम्मा हुन सक्छ।

फाइदा: नियमित ग्रुमिङले रौँ गुजुल्टो पर्न (Matting) दिँदैन। गुजुल्टो नपरेको रौँले छालालाई सास फेर्न दिन्छ, जसले गर्दा ब्याक्टेरियल संक्रमण (Hot spots) र छाला चिलाउने समस्या कम हुन्छ।

Case- "Tick Paralysis in dog"🩺💉
A 2 year old female dog( pixe)🐕 has a history of heavy infestation of tick for 1 months. Last 1 day they have weakness & loss of appetite so owner concerned Doctor at City Pet Clinic and Surgery Centre, Bhairahawa .Pixe have a symptoms; lethargy, slightly fever, Difficulty breathing, progressive paralysis, often starting with weakness in the hind legs and progressing to the rest of the body. Treatment of Tick Paralysis in Dogs:
