Orientation Training on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) रेटिनोप्याथी अफ प्रिम्याच्योरिटी Screening कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको जानकारी गराउन पाउँदा हामी अत्यन्तै खुशी छौं।

यस महत्वपूर्ण कार्यक्रम नेपाल आइ प्रोग्राम, तिलगंगा आँखा प्रतिष्ठान, सेवा फाउन्डेसन तथा रामलाल गोल्छा आँखा अस्पताल फाउन्डेसनको सहकार्यमा आयोजना गरिएको थियो। “आज मिति 2082-09-11 मा उक्त कार्यक्रम विराटनगरस्थित रामलाल गोल्छा आँखा अस्पताल फाउन्डेसन (RLGEHF) को तालिम हलमा सम्पन्न भएको छ।

कार्यक्रममा प्रस्तुतकर्ताहरू डा. एली प्रधान (ROP Program Coordinator, तिलगंगा आँखा प्रतिष्ठान) , डा. ललित अग्रवाल (मेडिकल डाइरेक्टर, विराटनगर आँखा अस्पताल) तथा डा. नन्द किशोर चौधरी (बालरोग विशेषज्ञ, कोशी अस्पताल) द्वारा समयअगावै जन्मिएका नवजात शिशुहरूमा देखिन सक्ने रेटिनोप्याथी अफ प्रिम्याच्योरिटी (ROP) सम्बन्धी विस्तृत जानकारी प्रदान गरिएको थियो। प्रस्तुतिमा ROP को कारण, जोखिम समूह, समयमै स्क्रिनिङको महत्व, उपचारका विधिहरू तथा समयमै पहिचान र व्यवस्थापनमार्फत शिशुहरूको दृष्टि जोगाउन सकिने उपायहरूबारे अत्यन्तै उपयोगी, व्यवहारिक र ज्ञानवर्धक छलफल गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रममा बिराटनगरका बिभिन्न अस्पतालका प्रतिष्ठित बालरोग विशेषज्ञहरु सहित NICU विभागमा कार्यरत बरिष्ठ नर्सिङ स्टाफहरुको सक्रिय सहभागिता रहेको थियो।
