Distinguished Vice Chancellor, Respected Registrar, Honorable Executive Council Members of Kathmandu University, esteemed faculty members, dedicated staff, dear students, colleagues, collaborators, and well-wishers,
It is with immense gratitude, humility, and pride that I extend my heartfelt thanks to every stakeholder of Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences for your unwavering support, commitment, and collective efforts in strengthening our institution and advancing its mission.
The achievements and progress we have witnessed over this period have only been possible because of the trust, teamwork, and dedication of our entire KUSMS family. Together, we have been able to establish important milestones including the creation of the Gratuity Fund and Hospital Development Fund, ensuring stronger financial sustainability and institutional growth. We have also ensured salary increment and timely disbursement to all faculty and staff, recognizing the invaluable contributions of our human resources.
I would like to express special appreciation to the leadership of Kathmandu University, particularly the respected Vice Chancellor, Registrar, and Executive Council Members, for their continuous guidance, encouragement, and confidence in the vision and growth of KUSMS. Your support has been instrumental in enabling institutional reforms, academic expansion, and infrastructure development.
My sincere gratitude also goes to the leadership and team of Dhulikhel Hospital for fostering stronger academic-clinical collaboration and institutional harmony that continue to enrich patient care, medical education, and research.
I deeply appreciate all faculty members for their academic excellence, research contributions, innovation, and dedication toward student-centered learning. The successful initiation of DM/MCh programs, strengthening of PhD programs, expansion of medical research activities, acquisition of major international and multi-country collaborative grants, curriculum revision initiatives, and activation of advanced facilities including the Lung Center would not have been possible without your commitment.
To our administrative staff and supporting teams, thank you for your tireless efforts in ensuring smooth institutional functioning and service delivery. Your dedication forms the backbone of KUSMS.
To our students, thank you for your trust, enthusiasm, discipline, and academic spirit. The 100% enrolment in MBBS and BSc programs reflects the growing reputation of KUSMS and inspires us to strive for even greater excellence.
We are equally proud of our achievements in infrastructure and innovation, including the expansion of the Academic Block at Chaukot, initiation of smart classrooms, procurement of the Virtual Dissection Table, and the initiation of a dedicated Mental Health Center at Batase Danda to promote holistic healthcare and mental well-being.
Furthermore, the expansion of national and international collaborations through multiple Memorandums of Understanding with universities and institutions around the world reflects our collective aspiration to position KUSMS as a globally connected center of excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare.
As we move forward, I sincerely request the continued support, collaboration, and shared commitment of all stakeholders.
Together, we can further strengthen KUSMS as a leading institution dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, compassionate healthcare, and service to society.
Thank you once again to everyone who has contributed to this journey. The achievements belong to all of us.
Thank you.
