VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Happy Speech and Rehabilitation Centre (HS&RC) announces vacancy for the following given position and encourage all interested, dynamic, and qualified candidates to apply.

Position: Special Educator/ ot therapist

No. of vacancies: 3/2

Salary: According to the rules of organization

Desired Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in related recognized institution.

Experience: Experienced and speech therapy/ Sensory Integration Therapy trained will be in top priority but We welcome fresh candidates equally and provide on the job training for four months.
Age: Between 18 - 40 years old

Deadline: Interested candidates are requested to apply within 1 week till (2082/11/17)

Required documents:
# A curriculum vitae with a passport size recent photograph
# Letter of experiences ( if any )
# Copies of all academic certificates above +2
# Copy of citizenship
# Cover letter
# Personal pan card
Interested candidates can apply either via email or can drop hard copy documents in office of the organization located in Mahananda Chowk, birtamode jhapa within the office hour (9:00 to 5:00).

Visual stimming
Visual stimmingभन्नाले आँखाले हेरेर, दृश्यबाट आनन्द वा शान्ति पाउने उद्देश्यले गरिने दोहोरो/बारम्बार हुने व्यवहार हो। यो विशेषगरी Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) भएका बालबालिका तथा केही वयस्कहरूमा देखिन्छ।
Visual stimming का सामान्य उदाहरणहरू:-
बत्ती,घाम,पंखा,घुम्ने वस्तु हेरेर बसिरहनु
हात औँलालाई आँखाअगाडि हल्लाउनु
चम्किला वस्तु,रङ्गीन खेलौना,स्क्रिनमा टोलाइरहनु,आँखालाई छिटो-छिटो झिम्क्याउनु वस्तुहरू नजिक ल्याएर ध्यान दिएर हेर्नु किन हुन्छ visual stimming?
आत्म-शान्ति (self-calming) का लागि
अत्यधिक तनाव,खुसी वा उत्साह नियन्त्रण गर्न सेन्सोरी इनपुट खोज्न (sensory seeking)ध्यान केन्द्रित गर्न के यो गलत हो?
# होइन।
Visual stimming धेरै अवस्थामा सामान्य र आवश्यक coping mechanism हो। तर यदि यसले:
पढाइ/सीप सिकाइमा बाधा पुर्‍यायो
आँखामा दुखाइ,टाउको दुखाइ ल्यायो
सामाजिक सहभागितामा धेरै असर गर्‍यो
भने मात्र व्यवस्थापन गर्नुपर्छ।
कसरी सहयोग गर्ने?
पूर्ण रूपमा रोक्ने होइन,सुरक्षित विकल्प दिनु
E.g:-
-bubble tube,lava lamp,pinwheel
visual cards,light toys (limited time)
-समय र स्थान निर्धारण (structured stimming time)
-OT / ABA / Speech therapist सँग सल्लाह
-आँखाको स्वास्थ्य जाँच (यदि धेरै नजिक हेर्ने बानी छ भने)
