I have had many firsts in my life. Here is another one and it makes me very proud. 🥹

I'm absolutely thrilled to share my recent milestone with you. I've just passed the Ayurvedic doctor (AD) program with the American board NAMA, a significant achievement that's been years in the making. My background is quite diverse – I hold an Electrical Engineering Degree from the USA and a Fashion Diploma in the Fashion Capital, Paris. But at the core of it all, my unwavering passion for Ayurveda has been a driving force throughout my journey, which spans over a decade of studying Ayurveda. I have gratitude to my school Vedika Gurukul (https://www.vedikaglobal.org/school) and teacher Acharya Shunya for giving me this profound knowledge.

When the opportunity to take the Ayurveda Doctor (AD) exam presented itself, I'll admit I had reservations, but I embraced it with determination and worked tirelessly to come out on top. With a decade of hands-on experience in the Ayurveda field, my path has been marked by an unyielding pursuit of knowledge and a deep commitment to holistic well-being. I'm fortunate to have created, designed, and offered Laavanya Ayurveda, a premium Ayurveda skincare line that I'm immensely proud of. And the excitement doesn't stop there; I'm also in the process of launching another sister line, featuring Ayurveda skincare and lifestyle products.

Reflecting on this journey, I can't help but feel a profound sense of pride and gratitude. Especially to my husband Kiran Kattel for constant support and my teachers dr. Mahesh Sabade and dr. Abhijit Jinde for their teaching and continuous help.

There is a lot that goes on to make your passionate dream business a success.
Even if you have your dream job or own your dream business, there will be many tasks that you are not passionate about. You may spend countless hours doing things that you dislike and have always avoided in order to bring your dream job to fruition. Personally, I am extremely passionate about Ayurveda, and I hold it in high regard as a sacred science. Studying Charak Samhita brings me immense joy. However, that alone is not sufficient. To create my dream line of products, I had to acquire knowledge in several other areas, such as cosmetic chemistry, modern cosmetic science, FDA regulations, USDA regulations, dealing with vendors, streamlining supplies of raw materials and packaging materials, accounting, sales, marketing, and employee management (which I enjoy doing, by the way). Although there are many things that I do not enjoy, one cannot remain ignorant of them if you want to succeed in business. Then only I get to do things I enjoy such as formulating, sample making, and actual production and project management when we have wholesale orders. . All the backend boring stuffs for others are actually joy to me. Nonetheless, the end result is always incredibly satisfying and well worth the effort. When you see the product made, packaged, and having passed COA and other tests, the feeling is truly worth all the struggles, and the wasted time becomes irrelevant. Customer satisfaction (which I can vouch for at 95%) is the icing on the cake.
