Ghorepani P**n Hill Trek Comprehensive View
Ghorepani P**n Hill Trek normally begins with a drive from Pokhara to Ulleri via Tikhedhunga. However, we provide a complimentary ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara on a tourist bus a day before departing from Pokhara.
After arriving at Tikhedhunga, you head to Ghorepani. On the way, you get a chance to explore local villages and interact with the people to get an insight into their life and culture. This trek also rewards you with fantastic views of the Annapurnas, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli, as well as our first peak of Dhaulagiri. You will continue to hike until we reach Ghorepani - the destination for that day.
Early the next morning, we make our way to P**n Hill to watch the renowned sunrise over the snowcapped Himalayas. From P**n Hill, you can get fantastic views of glaciers, and numerous mountains - including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South to Annapurna I (8,097m / 26,566ft) Gangapurna, Khangsar Kang, Annapurna III, Dhaulagiri (8,167m / 26,795ft), and Machhapuchhare. Since the views from P**n Hill are extraordinary, P**n Hill is a favorite spot for many photographers. You will also take some time to soak in the natural beauty at P**n Hill and take photographs to your hearts' content.
After returning from P**n Hill, you will trek to Tadapani. You will be following the path that takes us through the rhododendron forests. When you reach Tadapani, you will realize that this village also provides you with a chance to appreciate the humongous Annapurna mountains.
On our third day, you start your trek from Tadapani to reach Jhinu Danda. Once more, you will be walking through rhododendron, bamboo, and oak tree forests. Before reaching Jhinu Danda, you will be passing through a peaceful settlement called Chomrong. There are hot springs around Jhinu Danda, and we will take our time and immerse ourselves in the hot springs.
The fourth day is your last day on the trek route. You will wake up at Jhinu Danda and trek to Siwa / Ghandruk Phedi. From Ghandruk Phedi, you will return to Pokhara on a route that passes through picturesque countryside. The following morning, we leave Pokhara on a bus to Kathmandu. Your trek is over by now, and we hope you will have created memories that you will remember for the rest of your life.
What can you see from the P**n Hill?
From the top of P**n Hill (3,210m / 10,531ft) that lies above Ghorepani Village, you can get mind-blowing sunrise views over the Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (6,993m). Most trekkers taking on the Annapurna Circuit visit P**n Hill.
What can you expect during the Ghorepani P**n Hill trek?
Ghorepani P**n Hill Trek is less than a week-long trek in the foothills of the Annapurna to Ghorepani and P**n Hill. This trek lets you enjoy trekking through beautiful mountain scenery, charming Gurung villages, dense rhododendron forests, and sub-tropical valleys, all set in the Annapurna region as the P**n Hill Trek route progresses along the picturesque Machapuchare (Fish Tail Peak) dominating the skyline.
Ghorepani P**n Hill trekking provides you with a chance to immerse yourself in nature, beauty, and fascinating culture in one of the world's most scenic regions.
