Another successful event in Pokhara! The Pokhara Health Camp and Stroke Awareness Campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Nepal Stroke Project , Manipal Hospital Pokhara ,and Fishtail Hospital at Armala-16, Pokhara.

One of the most interesting aspects of the program was the diverse group of participants, including housewives, elderly individuals, and female community health workers (FCHWs). During the discussions on stroke, participants showed great curiosity, asking numerous questions about early symptoms, immediate actions, and where to seek help.

Dr. Balgopal and Dr. Ashim highlighted the importance of not delaying treatment and also informed attendees about the availability of free medications at certain hospitals. The event featured around five awareness sessions delivered by both doctors, making it an engaging and informative experience.

We are hopeful that this small initiative will have a meaningful and lasting impact on the community.

A meaningful and fulfilling weekend at Tokha Municipality

We successfully conducted a health camp and stroke awareness campaign, where more than 120 individuals had their vital signs monitored. Alongside this, we provided health education on stroke, epilepsy, and the importance of physiotherapy in recovery and prevention of stroke and also low back pain.

Grateful to be part of an initiative that spreads awareness and supports community health.

Looking forward to many more such impactful programs.

चैत ७, २०८२ (मार्च २१, २०२६) का दिन आयोजना हुने निःशुल्क स्ट्रोक तथा एपिलेप्सी स्वास्थ्य शिविर मा सहभागी हुनुहोस्।

शिविर बिहान ८:०० बजेदेखि दिउँसो ३:०० बजेसम्म सञ्चालन हुनेछ।

यस अवसरमा निःशुल्क स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण तथा स्ट्रोक स्क्रिनिङ गरिनेछ।

स्ट्रोक र एपिलेप्सी सम्बन्धी जनचेतना तथा जानकारी पनि प्रदान गरिनेछ।

स्वास्थ्यको ख्याल राख्न यो अवसर नछुटाउनुहोस् , अवश्य सहभागी बन्नुहोस्।

The NSA and NSP team visited Aadarsha Ma. Vi. in Lalitpur to conduct a stroke and epilepsy awareness class for 7th and 9th grade students. A total of 74 students participated, and the session turned out to be surprisingly interactive.

Dr. Abhishek Man Shrestha spoke about stroke, explaining its signs and symptoms and what actions to take if someone in the family experiences a stroke. Dr. Naresh Kharbuja delivered an informative talk on epilepsy. Ms. Matina discussed the importance of maintaining a healthy posture in school life.
