चन्द्रघण्टा; माताको सम्पन्न स्वरूप। यसमा उनी अष्ठभुजी वा चतुर्भुजी हुन्छिन् । उनीले फुल-कमल र शस्त्र आदि समाएकी हुन्छिन्। यो देवीको पारङ्गत स्वरूप हो। उनको विवाहिता, उत्तरदायी र नुपूण, शक्ति सम्पन्न स्वरूप हो। यसको तुलना विद्या अर्जे पछि निपुण, ज्ञान र सीपयुक्त भएको विद्यार्थी सँग गर्न सकिन्छ।

नवरात्रीमा जगदम्बा भगवतीका नौ स्वरपको पूजा गरिन्छ, यी नौ स्वरूप देवीको जीवनीका नौ चरण हुन्। यी देवीको एउटा पुत्रीदेखि आमा र आमादेखि शक्तिस्वरूपा आदिसक्ती सम्मको यात्रालाई देखाउँछन्।
