🌍 Global Cancer Burden on the Rise
Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide, with 18.5 million new cases and 10.4 million deaths recorded in 2023. Alarmingly, 42% of these deaths were linked to preventable risk factors such as to***co use, unhealthy diets, and high blood sugar. Projections show that by 2050, global cancer cases could rise by 60%, with the greatest impact expected in low- and middle-income countries. This growing burden calls for stronger prevention efforts, early detection, and better access to treatment to protect communities and health systems worldwide.
