When Words Find Their Way๐Ÿ“ƒ

Distance fades and hearts come closer.
Through simple letters, we shared thoughts, stories, and emotions that turned Strangers into connections.

is happy to share that the Letter Exchange Program was successfully conducted at Saraswoti Multiple Campus ๐Ÿ’Œ with the support of .

The session created a safe and open space for students to express their thoughts and emotions through anonymous letter writing. It was encouraging to see students actively engaging, sharing, and connecting with one another so freely.

Thank you to everyone who made this session impactful. Together, we continue to create spaces where young people feel heard, valued, and connected. โค๏ธโœจ

Sleep and mental health share a powerful connection. Disruptions to the quality, timing, or amount of sleep can contribute to or worsen the symptoms of various mental health conditions. At the same time, living with a mental health condition can make it harder to get restful sleep, creating a cycle that can be challenging to break.

The link between sleep and mental health is rooted in biology. Every person has an internal 24-hour clock, known as a circadian rhythm, that helps regulate the sleep-wake cycle. When this rhythm is disrupted (for instance, by inconsistent schedules or unnatural light exposure at night), it can negatively affect mood and cognitive function. Furthermore, certain sleep stages, like REM sleep, are vital for processing emotions. Instability in REM sleep can interfere with this process and increase a person's risk for internalizing disorders.

Because this connection is so strong, improving sleep can be a powerful tool for supporting mental health. Therapies and strategies that target sleep and circadian rhythm disturbances can help alleviate psychiatric symptoms. Resetting the body's clock through consistent sleep schedules and morning light exposure can be beneficial. If you are struggling with sleep or mental health, professional help can be extremely beneficial.
