We know that we can think faster than we speak, speak faster than we write and, in most cases, write faster than we type. However, there are areas of our professional and personal lives that we cannot just speak our thoughts, we HAVE TO render them into written or typed form, because as the saying goes: Whatever is not recorded, is not done! For example, you cannot just call an employer SPEAK OUT your CV over the phone! 😊
That’s where our service comes in to make your thoughts more streamlined and lives a bit easier. We are an online transcription service. We basically type or transcribe any spoken work in audio or video format and convert it to text.
We are a group of experienced transcriptionists and each one of us has at least over a decade of experience in legal, medical and general transcription, and given that we have all worked in environments such as hospitals and courts, where quality, accuracy, confidentiality and meeting tight deadlines is paramount, you won’t have to either wait or proofread the documents we deliver to you.
So how does it work and how much does the service cost? Its pretty simple really. You just send over the recorded audio or video to us via email or any other cloud service, such as Dropbox, MyDrive, Google Drive, etc, and let us know of any formatting preferences (font, spacing, template, etc) and we transcribe your audio/video and send it back to you and let you know its ready for you to use. Prices vary by the degree of difficulty of the audio, such as ambient noise, terminology involved, clarity of speech, etc. Basically, we use two pricing models – its either by per audio/video minute or by the number of characters (lines) typed in the document. As soon as you send us the audio/video we can listen to it and send you a quote straightaway. If we both agree, the work will be underway.
