Reclaiming Mana Motuhake in Tūpāpaku Care.
Make Your Voice Count whānau—Complete the Survey Today!

This is your chance to make a real impact. By sharing your insights, you help reclaim mana motuhake and tino rangatiratanga in tūpāpaku care, ensuring that whānau, hapū, and iwi lead the way in decisions that honour our tikanga and whakapapa. Every response drives action—the more voices we gather, the stronger our collective power to create meaningful change.

The movement toward Māori-led, Māori-designed, and Māori-run tūpāpaku care is about restoring Māori authority over our own traditions and practices. Tino rangatiratanga ensures whānau, hapū, and iwi have the power to shape care in ways that reflect their collective aspirations, while mana motuhake reinforces autonomy in decision-making, moving away from imposed structures.

By completing this survey, you contribute to a future where tūpāpaku care is guided by Māori leadership, ensuring accessibility, cultural integrity, and a system that truly reflects our values. Time is limited—your kōrero matters.

Side note: A massive thank you to everyone who has already completed the survey—your kōrero is lighting the way forward! The ideas and possibilities emerging from your insights are inspiring, and together, we are shaping a future where tūpāpaku care truly reflects mana motuhake and tino rangatiratanga. Follow us to see how we are turning your voices into meaningful change for bereaved and grieving whānau in Aotearoa.
