Functional training is a type of exercise that prepares the body to better perform everyday movements, such as squatting, lifting, pulling, hinging, twisting. After all, we all need to be able do to the basic stuff, like picking up something heavy from the floor in a safe way, correct?
This type of workout involves free weights and uses compound exercises that requires more than one muscle group working together, like squats, push - ups, deadlifts, lunges. The list goes on…
Functional training doesn’t get boring and is very efficient as it uses the whole body!
Do I need to say is my favourite? 🏃‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️

One of my favourite healthy and delicious breakfast meals! Here it is a recipe that I created for Porridge that I love! Let me know if you try it or if you have any questions.😀

1/3 cup of quick oats
1/4 cup of lite milk( or vegetable milk) I prefer regular milk over vegetable milk for porridge.☺️
1 teaspoon of peanut butter
1/5 teaspoon of cocoa
A sprinkle of Cinnamon + chia +
cocoa nibs.
Add all ingredients together in a saucepan in a low heat and keep mixing it up until is ready to eat. Normally it takes only a few minutes until oat is soft and with a nice consistency. Add berries and banana on top and to finalize add some honey. Enjoy it! 😋🥣🍓🍌🍯

Learning something new is crucial for our well - being. When you work towards a goal and achieve it, we feel better about ourselves and it empowers us to deal with new tasks or to learn other new things. It can boost your self- esteem, reduce stress, improve your mental health and quality of life and add a bit of fun to your routine!

I always found the wheel pose so beautiful. Wheel pose is a back bend yoga pose. It is and intermediate/advanced pose. Your body needs to be warm and prepared to do it! Normally is done at the end of a yoga class when the body is ready for it! 🤍🌈
