RADs just finished on Monday 28 Nov 2023 and they said next couple of weeks it should start causing some issues but we shall see as its already started and within 4-6 weeks another breast scan
and Friday 1st Dec we have another Liver MRI in Remuera where I have to be monitored as the contrast given upsets my system and the machine burns me from inside/out
they said today AGAIN they checking to see that nothing sinister is going on with our 10cm lesion and to make sure the chemo hasn't done any xtra damage or created anything as chemo is known to do this,
so we wait
and here we were told it would all be over in july 2023 LOL

Paclitaxol 🤑 +heaps meds+blood transfusions
Carboplatin 🤮 more meds
Red Devil (AC) 👹 fkn injections + more meds, more blood transfusions
Hospital stay (5 days) 💀+ 2 more blood transfusions
Surgery Friday 25/08/23 RAD SEED 👽
Surgery Friday Tomorrow 01/09/23
wide excision breast lumpectomy 😱 Blood transfusion ready to go of needed hospital stay over night (fingers crossed no longer)
Final part should be daily radiation + meds
HERES HOPING IT STOPS THERE AND F***S OFF (untill it rears its ugly head again )

We are having a wide local incision so under arm to remove upto 40 lymph nodes and slice the breast from 1 side to the other
Told them they get 1 chance GET IT RIGHT. I opted out of having the smaller operation where they go in amd remove where the tumor was a a couple of millimeters around in the hope they got it all.
Wait for results of the margins to see if they got the bitch!!!.

NO THANKS told specialist
go In slice her up like a steak and remove as much tissue as you please
Then send for testing.

Day 1 of AC CHEMO
(Doxorubicin hydrochloride (Adriamycin) and Cyclophosphamide,)

Few tears today when we started chemo and the we fought the tears when the DOX came out in the syringes.

Esma held my hand as she has done thru every stage, of this journey especially when she has seen me get upset/agitated.

Tonight so far
Managing well
Nausea started a little before chemo and has been present all day
Had a little ginger slice made for me which so far has helped a little
[well it tastes nice]..
I have to give my own injection tomorrow into the tummy

Soooo
Here's a quick update
Nausea is real
And such an awful taste in the mouth
Trying to keep vomiting at bay takes me back to my childhood of pinching 1 of my dad's boggie bottles and sculling it to show off.
The neuropathy is so real just trying to walk on the left side is fun NOT...
Stamping my feet as if i was kick starting a motor bike. To get some feeling before walking.
The numbness and stinging in leg and feet are awful.
Did I mention diarrohea... Sorry all....

1 stomach cramp and hello
No warning at all and it dosnt wait for you to be near a loo eitha..any time any where ---cramp oops--- my life

And the pills they promise you useless atm.
Blood pressure - blood sugar issues
I thought we were doing well obviously the worst is yet to come.... and we are stil a few chemos away before we start the next round of AC (red devil)

My daughter put this in our family chat
So thought re post for u all

Yay at oncology appointment yesterday
Specialist says lumps still shrinking was 5cm now shrunk to 1.5cm
We will get a new ultrasound to show us exactly how small in coming weeks.
She also checked lymph nodes and my stinging areas and she says no concern. It’s normal. Yay ;)
Mri for liver is on 16 may finally then the waiting game begins for the results.

Dr also said I been eating well and drinking loads of water, as bloods and kidneys are looking good and back up to where it should be.
Some of other results borderline low but that's normal for someone on chemo

Important to keep the water up as we don’t want to defer again.
They won’t do another smaller dose, only defer.

I have been doing well and they are super happy with me.

Dam near run into the hospital today

I'M so ready for this
This is the most positive day ever that I have had after
3 weeks chemo
No pain
Lump shrunk 25%
No chemo for a week (naughty kidney)
A Week of severe breast pain
Roll on TODAY
We have just started our 5 hour stint

Trip to middlemore for xtra blood testing
NO CHEMO today due to kidneys not working properly
So we hope it gets better for next week

We await what they have to say and esma has promised to kick ass is the MRI isn't arranged for the lesion on the liver
