Feeling really grateful after spending the last 5 days immersed in a Yoga Nidra teacher training at Pure Yoga.
It was deeply nourishing to reconnect with this practice of self-inquiry, presence, and nervous system awareness, and to bring it into deeper alignment with my NEI therapy work. I previously completed a Yoga Nidra training in 2019, but didn’t feel ready to share it at the time.
In the first year of motherhood, Yoga Nidra became a very important support for me personally, especially during a period of insomnia and sleep deprivation. It’s a practice I returned to again and again, and it now feels meaningful to integrate this lived experience into my work with others.
I’m now beginning the 6-week practicum, where I’ll be facilitating weekly sessions, and I’m also developing guided Yoga Nidra recordings to support clients with regulation, rest, and integration alongside NEI sessions.
It feels like a very natural extension of my work—supporting deeper nervous system settling and emotional integration.
I’ll be sharing more about Yoga Nidra and NEI in the coming weeks—feel free to connect if you’d like to follow along or join a session.
