Missing home a little more than usual lately ✨

Mothers hold so much of our world together, quietly shaping who we are.

This Mother’s Day, I’m honouring that through clay, connection, and shared time.

Join us on Sunday 10th May, 2:00–4:30 pm, for a gentle afternoon in the studio.
Come with your mum, your child, or someone who holds that place in your life...
or come on your own, if you feel called to take this time for yourself.

🌿 10% off when booking 2+ tickets
🌿 All levels welcome

A small moment to slow down, create, and be together.

Along the way ✨

I’ve been realising lately that sometimes I look for ways to escape… as if this world were too much for me.

And then I remember what I learnt during a 10-day silent retreat last year—something I’m still integrating: when that happens, I’m disconnecting from my body.

Clay gently brings me back.
To touch.
To feel.
To sense what’s within.

The process, the breath… they remind me that I chose this path.
That I am not too much.
That I came equipped with everything I need to exist in this plane.

And in this fast-paced world, I’m also learning to be patient with myself.
To honour my timing, and respect others.

Today, I soften…
and relax into the bliss of the powerful divine within.

Sending love and light to all of you 🤍

Today marks two years since I taught my first class in the studio ✨

It hasn’t always been easy, but it has been real.

Over time, I’ve seen how clay asks for patience, repetition, and presence… and how, for those who stay, something deeper begins to unfold.

This space has slowly become a nest.
A place where it’s safe to let go of external expectations, and simply be with the process.

To the ones who kept showing up, who trusted the unfolding, and allowed themselves to learn in their own time… thank you for being part of this journey.

This space exists because of you as well 🤍

Sometimes projects take time… and many hands ✨️

This one began during my first open studio in 2024, when visitors made clay bells for the entrance. Last year our community of regular makers gathered, and created more than 100 bells to help complete the vision.

Slowly, piece by piece, this installation came to life.

Each bell carries the touch, intention, and energy of someone from our tribe. Different hands, different stories… all resonating together.

Now they hang here, quietly singing and welcoming people in.
And I still catch myself looking at them thinking: wow, they are real.

Just like you.
Just like me.

Thank you to everyone who added their hands to this 🤍

Corners ✨

Arriving at the studio every morning means turning on the music, picking up the tools I’ll use for the day, putting the kettle on for a cuppa, and getting the clay ready to bring a vision to life.

This is one of my favourite corners... where tools wait to be discovered, where we gather at the end of class to tidy what we’ve used, where music and time meet, and where we relax into the final touches of our pieces.

There’s a selection of my own work here too, for inspiration… or for grabs. And the greenery, bringing a little joy to every day of practice.

Little corners in the studio that hold the calm and the order we need, to create freely.

While we get ready for the next five-week term starting next week, I keep working on my own project. I may have been a bit absent here, but I’ve been very present within, and it feels good to have a sense of purpose while so much moves and shifts around us.

The studio is slowly coming back to its rhythm again.

Thank you .birchall for capturing .pottery in images 🤍
