Deciding how to glaze is a quiet moment.
When it’s time to glaze, everything moves quickly. Thoughts are set aside... speed takes over, and we just do it.

We speak clay: we listen to what the vessel wants to become and prepare ourselves to follow its lead.

Our mindset stays grounded with the earth. Once we set our intention, we let go, and let it happen.

Heads up, potters! The studio will be closed on Thursday 7th August as we fire up Mr Huxley (our hardworking kiln) for a big firing day.

Thanks for your understanding while we give your beautiful pieces the heat treatment they deserve, we’ll be back open and ready to get muddy again the next day.

Clay grounds us.
It connects us to the earth, and back to ourselves.

When we sit with it, there is nowhere to hide.
It listens, it responds, it reveals.
Every fingerprint, hesitation, and breath becomes part of the process.

Here, we hold space for that honesty.
This is a place to simply be. To explore, to try, to feel.

We celebrate the small wins, the quiet breakthroughs, and even the pieces that don’t go as planned.

Because in clay, as in life, the beauty is in the becoming.
