Protein is super important, but so is fibre.

We can get caught up on the protein bandwagon and poor ol mate fibre gets forgotten about.

It is so simple to add fibre at every meal.

Fibre is food for the gut microbes, which then convert it to short chain fatty acids (SCFA) which are the most magnificent little molecules. They are anti inflammatory and have been shown to work their magic systemically even in our brain.

The lymphatic system is over 40,000km worth of vessels. It is crucial that we move every day to help this system do its job. Along with adequate amounts of water, ideally sipped slowly over the day and reducing your toxin exposure to remove the burden on this intricate network.

One extra additional thing is massage and dry skin brushing.

The documentary is currently playing on Netflix, The Plastic Detox. It is a must watch.

Although, not all doom and gloom. A recent study out of Australia showed that just by removing all plastics out of your environment for 1 week showed dramatically lower levels in the participants' urine.
So start to swap out plastics one by one with a safer alternative.

I would love a world where we got everything we needed from our food.

We are sadly so far from that world it is alarming.

Soil depletion
A broken food system
Ultra processed foods
Stress
Poor sleep
Chronic light exposure
Gut microbiome and liver issue's and the list could go on and on.

I will always recommend nutrient testing before lots of supplements.

However, when treating cancer and other diseases, we will always need to take supplements and potentially 're purposed meds'
