We recently had the privilege of making scope sights for a local business /

We are proud to be using local products to assist other local and independent business owners.

Gene takes great pride in all his work and like a chemist, he can only make things according to the prescription details and lens requirements he is given. Here you can see that it doesn’t matter what the lens is or the size of it, he does his work with great precision.

Thank you to Shane and the team for working with us while we moved locations and setup etc. We appreciate it and look forward to assisting you again soon.

Hey everyone,

We hope you are all safe and well!

We have been setup and running our lab from our office/shop for over a week now. 😎

We have setup the framing of how we want the shop to be laid out. We just have to add some walls and finishing touches to create the partitions etc. 🥸

We are not open officially until we secure a few more Australian suppliers! One of which confirmed they want to work with us today! They carry the “Made In Australia” certification, so that is exciting! 😎 - However, we are happy to help locals who contact us to make an appointment!

My/our goal is always to support other Australian (especially independently owned) businesses. If you have something that may work in our shop, reach out! 🧐

Hello everyone,

We hope you are well and all ok! Apologies for being quiet for the past few weeks! We sold our home/office and have been busy moving etc! 😊 - We are currently looking for land to build. 😊

In the meantime, we will be operating from a retail space in our home town from Monday. 😊

We are toying with the idea of names for our shop. We do not want to represent ourselves as Optimetrists because we are not Optometrists. We are similar to a chemist except we deal in optics, not medicine. People come to us with a prescription for new lenses to their own frames. Or for complete glasses (frame and lens packages!) Quality, local products that don’t cost the earth. 😊

We have a business name in mind, but are in two minds about what the slogan should be!….

We hope you are having an awesome start to the week! 😎

We finally got our first batch of lenses for the week late this afternoon, and true to form Gene started fitting as much as he could. 👓

He managed to pump out 7 pairs of lenses in an hour and a half to ensure he got the oldest orders done on time and in the post by 5.00pm! 🕶️

We Pride ourselves on having great customer service and do whatever we can to make sure our customers get their glasses back in a timely manner. Of course the turn-around time varies depending on your style of frame, type of lenses and coatings and of course your prescription requirements. 🥸

Gene always gets the oldest orders completed the same day the lenses arrive. He will complete all the fitting if he has time, otherwise the newest orders get completed after hours and are ready for shipping the next day! 👓

How do we offer such great service? Simply, we have our own fitting lab and buy Australian made products and Australian sourced products. We also use local services for special frame fitting, lens options and high prescription requirements! 100% Australian! 🕶️

👉🏼 If you want to make a claim, contact us first, and we can confirm with you before placing an order!

👉🏼 If you proceed with an order, please leave a message during checkout or via email that you require a health fund invoice and tell us who it is, as we have different numbers for different health funds. - We will make the invoice with all the appropriate item codes, etc, and forward it to you, to make your claim with your health fund.

👉🏼 The order confirmations you receive via our site do not have the item codes relevant to your order. We need to make up an invoice manually!

As optical lens suppliers, it’s up to Gene our optical mechanic/tecnician to decipher the prescription details sent to us, to ensure we supply you with the correct replacement lenses. 👓

We got sent this prescription today. For those in the know, you are not meant to write a symbol next to: 0.00 otherwise known as Plano, which means no prescription. 🕶️

We often come across mistakes like this. It makes me proud that we not only have a dispensing technician/mechanic with dispensing and lens fitting knowledge, but also someone with lens manufacturing knowledge, which means all mistakes can be seen and clarified if required. 🥸

We take pride in what we do, from start to finish. Rest assured if something isn’t right, we will get to the bottom of things. 👓
