Every Scent has a story. Here's mine

“I’ve always been on the go — a Type A personality, a busy mum of two, and a radiographer by trade. With my husband, a pilot, often away flying, life was full and fast. After running my third half marathon in just a few months, my body crashed. I was later diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue and an autoimmune disease.

As I faced the possibility of medication, a close friend introduced me to essential oils. They helped me heal, but I wanted to create a way to enjoy their benefits while still being surrounded by beautiful scents.

Candles were my answer. I’ve always loved them, and I knew if I could blend real essential oils into candles, people could enjoy both the fragrance and the holistic benefits. Shortly after, our solid perfumes were born — so every person could carry their own moment of calm, wherever life takes them.

And that’s how Becca Project began: handcrafting natural, essential oil-based self-care rituals, right here in New Zealand.”
