Tonight La Luna moves into Aries, with a Super Full Moon, at precisely 4:48pm NZTD. This moon is known as the Hunter’s Moon - named from when people relied on the bright moonlight to hunt in preparation for winter, in the northern hemisphere.

In Aotearoa, we honour the longest night and the return of light, as tonight marks the Winter Solstice, the sacred turning point where the sun begins its slow journey back to us.
