The Blue Butterfly Massage Therapy (owned and run by Vanessa Warrender (Vinnie)) has in the past been a home-based massage therapy company but more recently has become a mobile massage business. I have a massage table and a massage chair and am now offering a door to door professional and skilled service. I can come to your home or business in Waiuku or on the peninsula. Let the healing begin!
HOURS AND DAYS OF OPERATION
Massage in Waiuku – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.30-2pm in Waiuku
Massage on the peninsula - Mondays and Tuesdays – depending on availability - for visits to the peninsula from Po***ck to Orua Bay/Big Bay
MASSAGE AND TREATMENTS
Customised to meet your personal requirements - concentrating on areas of concern to fit your needs and/or time frame.
30 minute massage $30
60 minute massage $60
90 minute massage $100
120 minute massage $150
Pregnancy massage - same prices as above.
The Blue Butterfly Hot Stones Massage $120
A 90 minute journey into bliss. You will enjoy a soothing vanilla bean oil and hot stones throughout your treatment. Please note that for this treatment more time will be required for set-up etc
ABOUT
I am Vanessa Warrender (also known as Vinnie) and I will be your massage therapist for all treatments. I am New Zealand born with a Maori heritage and I have a passion for people and spirituality.
I studied at the New Zealand College of Massage covering massage therapy stages 1 – 5, anatomy and physiology, holistic pulsing, aromatherapy, facial massage and massage for pregnancy and infants. I also trained in London before going to work on a Royal Caribbean Cruise ship called the Enchantment of the Seas in 2002 and 2003. On board the ship's spa I carried out various treatments such as basic facials and various body therapies including body glisten treatments, fake tan treatments, hot stone massage and seaweed body wraps.
I have worked in various corporate tents doing massage for the runners after Round the Bays and the Auckland Marathon. I have also worked at various corporate companies providing massage on-site for office workers.
More recently I have worked as a massage therapist at Castaways Resort and Spa, Karioitahi Beach, Waiuku.

Massage Table - 30 minutes $30 each / 60 minutes $60 each
Massage Chair - 10 minutes $10 each / 15 minutes $15 each/ 20 minutes $20 each
Foot spa – 30 minutes $30 each / 60 minutes $6 each - Treatments include a foot and ankle massage. Have your feet soothed, softened, exfoliated, massaged and wrapped. Sit back and relax!

(minimum $60 spend for a group day or night)
PLUS, travel costs - Travel costs will be added on to your total and will be anything from $10 upwards depending on your location/destination (if out of the general Waiuku area) and whether it is my usual day of work.
Please note that if you are doing this before your wedding day and you or any of your bridesmaids have had tanning treatments that you may want to consider just having an 'over the clothes' massage or perhaps a foot spa.
THE SMALL PRINT
The Blue Butterfly Massage Therapy therapist may leave any venue if it is not safe or suitable or if any clients act inappropriately. Due to the mobile aspect there will be times when your therapist may be running late because of traffic congestion/issues/accidents and other circumstances beyond their control. It is very important to me that I reach you at the agreed time but in the event I may be running late I sincerely hope you understand.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
The Blue Butterfly accepts Cash or Bank Deposit (by prior arrangement). EFTPOS is not currently available.
CANCELLATIONS
I understand that sometimes you need to change your schedule. I kindly ask that you give me 24 hours’ notice by phone or text as someone else may be able to take your appointment time.
