KYRO Athlete Travis is 5 weeks out for Christchurch Full Marathon

With countless hours spent, a strong build, determination and plan, he prepares himself.

When chasing any goal, stacking sessions matter. And for every session the cost for the work is paid in fuel.

Some days demand more than others. Travis has made this a big focus during the prep, ensuring he has the proper amount of carbs and fuel to allow his body to perform for what he is trying to achieve.

KYRO26 has come to a close.

For 26 days this community committed to one simple thing:

Just Show Up.

Early morning runs.
Late night gym sessions.
Long rides.
Recovery days.
The sessions no one sees.

Across the challenge we saw 800+ sessions logged, 1000km+ covered, and athletes showing up across 10+ disciplines.

But the real result wasn’t the numbers.

It was the community that formed around a shared mindset:
show up for yourself and keep moving forward.

To everyone who took part, thank you. The consistency, effort and support across the community was incredible to watch.

An in depth breakdown of how KYRO Athlete .amiesongraham fuelled for his Ironman.

Conquering the course also means conquering how you fuel. This is certain for any form of exercise.

You only go as far as the amount of gas you have in the tank. Under fuelling can be the difference from a life changing moment or a DNF and that is why we preach this.

As there is no better feeling then conquering what you set out for, so don’t set limits on how what you can achieve by ignoring what it takes to get there.
