Vaine Toa: A New Pacific Campaign Promoting Early Breast Screening

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women in Aotearoa — but Pacific women continue to be under-screened and diagnosed at later stages.

The Vaine Toa campaign is a powerful step forward in uplifting, informing, and empowering Pacific women to prioritise their health, access free breast screening, and share their stories of strength.

Led by Pacific voices and breast cancer survivors, the campaign creates a culturally safe and supportive space to kōrero about early detection and wellbeing.
