Kānuka Waitai Hydrosol

I created this Rongoā into a Hydrosol, and the name is it's purpose: to wātea, to clear.
I don't know about anyone else, but when I have given birth in the past I needed something quick, easy to use and fits in my hand. Something I could use to refresh myself when the contractions were manageable, something that smelled pleasant - sometimes to even spray someone or something away to get out of my space! Haha!
Kānuka is a hardy rākau, that withstands even the strongest of winds. And so with this in mind, to remain stead strong and feet firmly planted whilst in labour and during birth, allow the Mauri of this Rongoā to support you through all your trials.
It is antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory.
Waitai is seawater that I harvested over Matariki, 2024, from the shores of Waikawa Bay at the Top of the South Island.
Salt carries many properties, and within seawater, is rich in minerals and vitamins that can improve your skin health. In a religious sense, it is used to cleanse and to clear.
So, when you want to refresh yourself or clear the area you frequent daily, use this Hydrosol spray to your advantage! Just spray and walk away!
