Every week just adding 5 words to my kete 🌱

Implementing & sharing them with you all has CHANGED my confidence in using Te Reo Māori because I feel like I have more depth to pull from.

Always a learner but a little less of the fear.

Before my yoga class this is my māmā & māmā in law helping me tidy & clean the hall space for my yoga students. Vacuuming, diffusers on, essential oils dotted around the room.

Rich in this lifetime because I’m rich in whānau 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾
My yoga classes are never a result of just me, they are me & the community of support around me. My oldest boy comes to every class & often unpacks most of the car by himself so I can make sure our space is ready for the community. Then friends & whānau help me pack the car after class with all the bolsters and props.

K I need to go before I start crying because I know I never have to be in anything alone 😭😭 but that is what I try to create for my community.

Every class I want every single person in the room to feel like they belong, like they have someone who really cares about them. That warmth & belonging is everything to me.

Only 2 spaces left for next Mondays class - booking link in bio xx

Kupu o te wiki 🌱

This weeks Kupu are all centred around the big feelings I’ve had of my middle boy going to school 😮‍💨
So happy for him but sad for me 🫠😂

Also a book recommendation I have for learning new Kupu 📖

kura auraki - maindtream school
mokemoke - to be lonely
pāmamae - to be upset
konekone - to be shy
anga tūpiki - monkey bars

This one came straight from being sick 🤧

When you’ve spent days breathing shallow, coughing, holding tension in your chest and throat - your body needs an invitation to open back up.

19 minutes. Seated, floor then bed. We move through angel arms, puppy, walrus & finish with your head gently off the edge of the bed t open the throat right up.

It’s on YouTube now - link in bio 🌙

Another kīwaha for your kete.

One to use with your tamariki (or with your partner when they don’t listen) when things happen exactly as you said they would 😂

E nge!
Serves you right!

This is from a couple of weeks ago now & I can confirm my son has handled the school transition like a trooper & so have I & we are all so happy in our new routine. Grateful 🥲
