After discovering Sisters of the Valley on Facebook in Feb, and then meeting Sister Kate at the farm in Merced, California in August, where I visited for 5 days, I finally came to realise that I had reached a crucial turning point in my life at 48.
Once I had settled into the guest room and got the lay of the land, I felt instantly at home, I belonged and felt incredibly welcome, like whanau.
I didn't expect this and deep down inside my soul, I began to resonate with these women, at that moment, I knew we had to start a sisterhood in Aotearoa
