Although I didn't have the privilege of personally knowing Sir Tim, over the past five years I've had the immense pleasure of investing considerable time in Invercargill, and what a truly remarkable City it is. Sir Tim, you've genuinely made Invercargill the most fantastic little city in New Zealand, imbuing it with an extraordinary spirit, an unmistakable sense of togetherness, and boundless warmth.

A profound loss to New Zealand, yet an enduring beacon of inspiration on the power of heartfelt leadership. May Sir Tim rest in peace, and may his loved ones, friends, and the people of Invercargill find solace in the memories of his remarkable life.

It's a reflection of their insecurities and not wanting you to ever do better than them. So especially hard and hurtfully cruel when you have given them support. Forget them and focus on you. 🩷
