It was great to see so many lovely faces at the Waikouaiti Artisan Market yesterday where we hosted the BBQ. We will be sure to have sausages next time not just burgers 😊.

Come along to another Market day where we are hosting a BBQ. Burgers this time!!

The next Waikouaiti Artisan Market is on Sunday 3rd August from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Waikouaiti Events Centre.

It is National Volunteer Week (Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu). The theme for the New Zealand celebration is "Whiria te tangata – weaving the people together".

The Waikouaiti RDA Annual General Meeting will be held next week on Tuesday 27th May 2025 at 7.00pm in the library at Karitāne School.

We have vacancies on the committee, including the office role of secretary. If you're interested in joining, please let us know before the meeting.

Please note that to have voting rights at the meeting you need to be a current Society Member. The cost for this is $5.00 per year, and you can claim this as a donation credit with Inland Revenue.

We are coming into the school holidays so this is a great time to reach out if you have ever thought about volunteering with us. Plenty of time for training and meeting the team.

If you think you could spare sometime on Tuesdays or Fridays to work with our horses and riders please contact us. *Warning ☺️ It sometimes feels like hard work, but! it's very very rewarding. 💛

We had a working bee in preparation for our upcoming Gala day and we really wanted to thank everyone for their help.
