Curiosity came alive as the children welcomed some tiny guests into our space! They closely observed how snails eat, move, and explore, creating a terrarium for a three-day observation. From feeding them and keeping their home moist to gentle, meaningful interactions, the children showed so much care and wonder.

The snails quickly became our learning theme, inspiring activities and discussions throughout the days. The children even kept observation journals, documenting their discoveries about their tiny friends. 🌱✨

From the floor to the wall—this activity evolved beautifully as the children followed each other’s lead. Painting vertically supports early writing skills through wrist extension, core strength, and hand–eye coordination. Plus, water painting is mess-free and perfect for summer!
They also noticed how the water faded over time, inviting observation and curiosity. 💧🌞

A beautiful sensory nature experience for our babies today. Exploring real flowers encourages sensory development, curiosity, and calm engagement. Our babies enjoyed the colours, textures, and fragrances for a long period of time. 🌼🌱
Note: Flowers are always checked for safety and little crawlies beforehand!

Our pēpi had a wonderful time exploring moon sand together. They enjoyed pouring, scooping, and sharing the experience with their friends, building early sensory awareness and fine motor skills through hands-on play. This calm, engaging activity also encouraged social interaction as they explored side by side.

🚗🎨 What can you do with toy cars and paint?

So much more than just driving! Today, simple toy cars turned into creative tools as little hands dipped, rolled, and explored. As the cars zoomed across paper, they created colourful tracks, patterns, and stories of their own.

This open-ended activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving, and lots of joyful experimentation. Every line told a different story — fast cars, slow cars, bumpy roads, and colourful adventures.
