E te iwi, we’re excited to announce the launch of Rehua Tūahiahi, the urgent after-hours service of Te Whare o Rehua, available to tautoko our whānau and hapori from the 24th of January.

Monday – Friday 5pm – 8pm
Sat/Sun and Public Holidays 9am – 5pm
Rehua Medical, 90 King Street, Whakatāne
Walk-in clinic – no appointment needed for urgent care.

This kaupapa is delivered in partnership with Eastern Bay Primary Health Alliance, reflecting our shared vision for a healthier, more connected primary care system across Te Moana a Toi.

We are lucky enough to have two afterhours GP clinics in the bay:
Te Awe Tieke Hauora - After Hours Clinic - Weekends and Public Holidays 10am - 4pm - at the Whakatāne Hospital Outpatients
And Opotiki Medical Hub - 5pm - 9pm Weekdays and 8am - 10pm Weekends and Public Holidays - King Street.

From 5 Jan - All GP Clinics will be back to normal hours – check with the clinic for appointments and bookings. Have a safe holidays!
