Not all water is equal.
One thing dairy farming teaches you pretty quickly… 🚜💧
Not all water is equal 😂
I’ve been testing groundwater for rural households lately — especially properties using well water — and it’s actually been so interesting.
First of all… we are SO lucky here in New Zealand 🇳🇿
Our groundwater incredibly clean and naturally mineral rich compared to many places around the world.
BUT… every property I’ve tested so far (even homes with filtered water) has either been slightly acidic or sitting right around 7.0pH.
Now don’t panic 😅
That water is still considered perfectly safe to drink.
But what’s been really interesting to me is learning more about how different water can feel and function depending on the minerals, filtration, and pH balance.
And if you’re in the dairy industry, you’ll know this better than anyone…
One farm’s water can taste completely different from the next 👀
When you move houses with farming jobs, you never quite know what water setup you’re walking into:
🚿 Hard water
💧 Chlorinated water
🛠 Bore water
🤷♀️ Acidic water
🥴 “What even IS this water?” water 😂
That’s honestly one of the things I love about the Kangen system — having the ability to adjust the pH and have consistent water wherever you go.
Plus it gives you options for different kinds of water around the home too, which has been a fun little bonus I never expected.
And before anyone says it… no, I haven’t become a total water snob 😂
I’m still a farm girl who’ll drink from the yard tap if needed.
I’m just passionate about simple ways to support health, hydration, and feeling good long term — especially for busy rural families who already work hard enough 💛
If you’re curious, I’m happy to do water testing, water shares, or chat about the rental option too 👀💧
The picture is my. Household water on the left . It is filtered at the pump and under the sink. It’s about 6.6 pH so very acidic, which I could tell… as it’s drawing copper minerals from the pipes to balance try and balance itself out. Which is not ideal for long term health and tastes very hard… not a joy to drink. The water on the left is the same water coming from the Kangen water machine.
