In 2005, Officer Kevin Briggs of the California Highway Patrol saved a man’s life on the Golden Gate Bridge. That man, Kevin Berthia, was very sad, but thanks to Officer Briggs’ compassion and determination, he stepped back from the bridge.

Fast forward to 2024—10 years later, and these two reunited at the same bridge. Kevin Berthia has turned his life around: happily married with two kids and now an advocate for mental health awareness. His journey is a powerful reminder that life can change for the better, no matter how dark the moment.

It’s not just about a rescue; it’s about human connection, hope, and second chances. 💙✨

Thank you, Officer Kevin Briggs, for being a light in Kevin Berthia's darkest hour. And thank you, Kevin, for showing us that there is always hope. 🙏

We’re only just getting started!

Our The Longline Classic family contacted us and said they were 100% behind the movement and wanted to hook up some deserving people. The boys are massive advocates for raising mental health awareness, so they gave us a double pass to give away to the Longline Classic 2023!

Thank you to everyone that either applied or submitted someone close to them for the Soundsplash experience. We read through some incredible stories of strength, perseverance and love. We’ve selected and notified the people who will be joining us this January.

The good news is we have plenty more shows onboard for this summer!

Next up: Ben Harper & Matt Corby touring together throughout NZ this February!

Mental health has a major impact in our country. NZ has the highest su***de rate in the world per capita and it breaks our heart. We believe communication is the most powerful tool and our goal is to simply break the silence through music, and give people an enjoyable day or night out with us.

Firstly, thank you for all the love and support over the past couple weeks. We've had some incredible words of encouragement as well as offers of service. Nudge Marketing are generously working on our website which will launch this month.

For now, we wanted to kick things off with one of our favourite partner festivals, Soundsplash, who are massive advocates on mental health awareness and make a conscious effort to host workshops live at the event.
