TOILET: makaton signs & words to model on the core board that relate to toileting e.g. toilet, wet, dry, nappy, wash.

I’d love your feedback on this video. Is it helpful? Did you learn anything new? If you have a core board - have you tried modelling toilet related words as a result of watching this video? Are the signs I demonstrate the same as the ones you currently use, or do you use different signs?

If you would like a paper handout of core words and the corresponding signs for toileting, please email me. These can be useful to have on the wall in the bathroom at home or school as a reminder. If your child uses a core board, I also suggest having the main core board laminated and stuck to the wall somewhere handy in the bathroom.
