What happens if you don't embed those small habits.
It's almost the end of month three for 2024, this is the crucial time to stick to your 2024 intentions and health goals.
You've been training for almost three months and expecting to see some results, but what if you haven't. Here's 5 reasons why you're not seeing results and this may help you to stay on track and embed those small habits for GROWTH:
🌱Nutrition: 80% of our health and well-being habits are done in the kitchen. Really important to include nutrient dense foods into your nutrition. Proper whole foods like fresh vegetables, fruit, pulse, fresh fish and meats, not S**t from a packet, will give you great energy and growth.
🏋Random Workouts: I get it, hiring a PT costs but finding random workouts on social media or YouTube is not following an actual plan designed especially for you and your goals. If you want results follow a damn plan and you will see results and growth.
⛲Not the right exercise or workout for you: If looking to burn fat then tons of cardio and HIIT workouts are not really that clever for us.
I've found that mixing things up works best, a general guide could be 2-3 strength training days per week and 1-2 HIIT style training days per week, that way you get both strength (build muscle) and cardio (heart/lung health).
🗽Not pushing yourself: I've been there, not pushing past my comfort zone, so I get it. Battling past this can get us closer to our progressions and growth goals. We have limiting beliefs that restrict us and we end up doing the same routine, with the same weights and therefore the same results. Try changing a few things, like tempo, slow 4-2-1, or a medium tempo 2-0-2, reduce your rest periods between sets and go on add that extra bit of weight.
😈Impatient: Consistency over time, you have to give a plan at least 12 weeks before deciding that it's not working. I've been on the same plan since the beginning of the year, and definitely seeing some amazing growth both physical and mental.
I trust some of these small habits and ideas help you, either reach your health goals or at least get you back on track.
